Continue along the Tangenziale until junction 1 (about 4.7Km after joining) when you peel off to the RIGHT (of course!), following the signs to MARANELLO, which is LEFT at the fork shortly after the exit. You then join a fairly busy dual carriageway (passing a number of big stores on the left including a huge IKEA) which then becomes a single carriageway, passing through a number of small towns (Ponte Ronca, Crespellano, Muffa) before you approach BAZZANO, about 15Km after leaving the tangenziale.

You pass a Q8 petrol station on your right (supermarket to the left), straight across the roundabout, then the road curves to the left and straightens out over a bridge with crash barriers on each side. You need to turn LEFT just after the bridge, but there is no warning of the junction so you just have to be careful! When you see it, it’s signposted ZOCCA, C.SERRAVELLE, SAVIGNO and MONTEVEGLIO, in white writing on a blue background.

After about 300m you reach a T junction, turn left (signposted MONTEVEGLIO), and continue for about 1.6Km until you see a building set back on your right behind some trees, with the words “TENUTA GOCCIA M100” written in huge letters on the side – take the road to the RIGHT immediately after this building.

This takes you down a fairly narrow road with woodland to your left and open farmland to your right. Follow this road – it eventually narrows and passes through woodland, and 4Km after the last junction you will see a white railing to your right and a notice “Ca Gioiosa 400m” with an arrow pointing RIGHT. Take this turning and keep following the road up, passing some houses on the way – it’s quite narrow and a little challenging – and eventually at the end of the road you will arrive at our house. Leave your car anywhere and if you haven’t already been spotted, you’ll find us around to the left of the house.
