The rental period usually starts on a Saturday but please contact Fiona should you have other requirements.
Booking conditions
Contract
The contract is made between the person signing the Booking Form and the owner of the property. In these Conditions the Client is referred to as You and the owner of the property as We. The Contract becomes valid when confirmation has been sent by Us.
Prices
The prices quoted are in Euros. For current exchange rates please go to www.xe.com.
Liability
We cannot accept liability for any injury loss damage suffered by you or any member of your party unless:
- there was wilful default by Us or our agents, or
- death or personal injury was caused by the negligence of Us or our agents
Accommodation
The description and photographs are generally indicative of the accommodation offered but not necessarily accurate in every detail.
Booking and Payment
- Bookings are only accepted on payment of a deposit of Euros 250, US$350 or £ 225 per apartment.
- For Bookings over 2 weeks the deposit payable is Euros 350 , US$500 or £ 325.
- Payment of the deposit may be made by cheque (Sterling or Euro) made out to Fiona Dunk . The cheque will be held until arrival and then returned upon full payment in Euros cash.
- The deposit should be sent to: Fiona Dunk, Ca Gioiosa, Via Marzatore 36, 40050 MONTEVEGLIO BO, Italy.
- A guest list should be emailed as soon as possible with dates of birth of children and a contact phone number.
Damage Deposit
A sum of Euros 150 is payable on arrival against breakages - this will be refunded on departure or within 2 weeks of departure in case of settlement or dispute
Cancellation
In the event of cancellation by You within 28 days of the start of the rental period the deposit will be retained by Us and no refund will be made.
For cancellation between 28 and 56 days of the start of the rental period we will refund 50% of the deposit, unless we are able to re-let the accommodation. In this case the whole deposit will be returned to You, less a cancellation fee of Euros 50.
In any other case a cancellation fee of Euros 50 will be retained by Us.
We reserve the right:
- to refuse any booking or reservation You may make and in such case we will return any money You may have paid;
- to cancel any confirmed booking if circumstances relating to the property or its accommodation make this necessary. In this event our liability is limited to the amount of deposit paid by You;
- to cancel any letting forthwith if You or any member of your party behave in such a way as to cause damage to the property or its contents. In this case no refund of any monies will be made by Us.
You are strongly advised to take out adequate insurance to cover cancellation, medical expenses, etc.
Pool
Guests are welcome to use the small pool respecting normal rules of hygiene. Small children MUST be under the guidance of an adult and toddlers MUST wear waterproof nappies/dypers if in and around the pool. We cannot be held liable for any accidents to guests that may occur in or around the pool.
Services
- Utilities: water, electricity and gas are included in the rental price.
- Central heating is generally available from November to March unless conditions dictate otherwise. We reserve the right to make an additional charge for central heating outside this period.
- Linen: Bed and bath and kitchen linen are changed weekly.
- Cleaning: the accommodation will be thoroughly cleaned before your arrival and You are requested to leave it reasonably clean and tidy on departure otherwise a deduction will be made from the deposit.
- Personal Laundry: a washing machine is available in the owners kitchen on the ground floor. The apartment has an iron and ironing board.
Check in and Check out
Guests are requested to check in after 4pm (16:00) unless previously arranged with Fiona. Check out is by 10am.
